This month we have had the pleasure of interviewing award-winning silversmith, Genevieve Flynn.
"Using nature as my inspiration, I endeavor to create expertly crafted heirloom jewelry and vessels. As an artist I receive gratification from working in noble metals that someday will be owned, displayed, utilized or worn by clients in their everyday life."
Genevieve has perfected her silversmithing skills through her degrees in jewellery design, jewellery repair and hand engraving, and studying under top artists and instructors. Her chasing and repoussé work is incredible, as demonstrated by 'Taro Leaves and Dragonfly Bud Vase' (above).
With a dedication to teaching, Genevieve set up her 'Metal Arts Visiting Master's Program', which attracts students from near and far to study with instructors who are experts in their fields.
